Happy to you!!

Happy To YOU! These were the words Ash had been waiting to hear all day, and joyously sang for the past week. Her special day had finally arrived. And a treat it was, indeed.

Hard to believe, but the little Princess Ashley Caela hit the 2 year mark on August 16, 2009!

Brendan, absolutely adoring his little sis, took the liberty of walking her through the "birthday" process. He made sure she knew how to stick her finger in the delicious carrot cake (Daddy picked out of course!) and get a quick taste...

And he was certain to make sure it tasted ok... ;-)

After that, we saw that she was rather confident in her ability to devour her slice.

And as all big brothers would so lovingly do, he assisted her in opening her gifts. I think he was more excited to see what she got than she was! He wanted to jump right to next gift, but she is at the age where she wants to spend all the time in the world with the one gift that was just opened.

Here she is opening the first part of her dollhouse from Nana and Papa. That was a real treat!

True brother-sister love! If only they could remember this during their "mine" moments!

We were able to sneak in a family shot. Not too shabby, huh?

Did I mention how thankful I am for such a wonderful family?! They're the BEST!
